Perform a Factory Reset
If you have changed your password before, you will see an error message when you try to log in with the default username and password. In such a case, the only thing you can do other than find the password is to reset the device. Resetting will reset the entire configuration of your router to its factory settings. In this way, you can log in with the default username and password without any problems. Now let’s examine how to do this.
- To reset your device, you need an object such as a needle or toothpick.
- Press and hold the “Reset” button on the back or side of the device for 3-4 seconds with the help of this object. The time varies from device to device. Therefore, you can look at the lights to see if the device has been reset. Release the reset button when the lights start flashing.
- Your device will be completely reset in about 1 minute.
- You can now log in with the default login.
